If you are already feeling the symptoms of a flu or cold infection I’d like to give you some tips.
- Take vitamin C, take zinc lozenges and take Echinacea. They are helpful for flu relief. Take Lauricidin, which helps to strengthen your immune system. It has antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties.
- Get rid of or cut back on dairy. Dairy in your diet can lead to problems with bacteria.
- Get plenty of rest and sleep. If you want to feel better then all you need is REST.
- Take plenty of water. It will wash away the toxins in your body and will make you hydrated.
- Herbs that are useful for natural flu relief are - Peppermint is commonly used for cold and flu symptoms. Its menthol is a very effective decongestant. Peppermint is calming and also soothing for sore throats and dry coughs. Natural flu relief herbal cures have been tested to be highly beneficial in curing flu without drying out the mucus membranes.
- Take paracetamol to reduce your fever, muscle aches and head aches.
- Take a steamy bath and put a few drops of eucalyptus. It is soothing and can soften the mucus in your blocked nose.
- Ginger is a common remedy. It can be taken as tea or you can cut a small piece and chew it like candy.
- Apply a cold compress in your head. It will help your body to cool down and can also help lessen the discomfort of headache.
- Eat garlic and onion. These two are anti-bacterial and are helpful in healing your sickness.
